Causes
A failed or disconnected IAT sensor, cut/corroded wiring or connector, or a dirty sensor (in integrated MAF setups).
The fix
Check the sensor connector and wiring first (a cheap common cause), then clean or replace the sensor. Live IAT data reveals the abnormal value.
